AFTER SCHOOL PICK-UP
Safe transportation is our first priority! All Club Metro drivers are safe and experienced drivers. All drivers are insured under our company policy. Each has undergone background checks. All students must wear seatbelts while traveling in our vehicles. There are many schools that we pick up from, so each child should be ready to go when the Club Metro vehicle arrives to ensure a quick return to the Metro Gymnastics Center.

EVENING PICK-UP
Pick-up is no later than 6:00 pm. After 6:05, $1.00 per minute, per child will be charged to your account. We realize that everyone is late from time to time. If you are running late please give us a call as soon as possible to give us an estimated time of arrival, (503) 620-8939. For your safety and liability sake, parents are not allowed on the gym floor. Please ask front desk staff for assistance if needed. For security reasons it is very important that you let us know of any changes in who will be picking your children up in the evenings. At the time of a registration, please include the names of all those you expect will pick up your child/children. Children will not be released to anyone whose name does not appear on the registration form. If an emergency comes up, please call and notify us as soon as possible or send a note with your child. The person picking the child up must show a picture ID to take the child.

DRESS
Club Metro children are extremely active every afternoon. Please avoid dressing your children in short skirts, dresses, and tube tops so they are not limited to activities they can participate in. If they come in these clothes, please be sure to pack appropriate clothing that is comfortable and easy to be active in.

Long hair must also be pulled back in a ponytail while in the gym and T-shirts will be tucked in to avoid any “slip-ups”. All jewelry must be removed before entering the gym and the children will be barefoot, as socks get slippery on the trampolines and are often lost in the pit.

NUTRITION
Children are provided with a healthy and nutritious snack once in the afternoon. If a child requires additional food please pack a snack or a snack card may be purchased from our Java Bean snack bar. We encourage the children to purchase healthy items from the Java Bean. Please notify us if you have bought a snack card for your child and how you would like us to monitor their spending.

DISCIPLINE
Our number one priority is to insure your children are in a safe environment. We follow an easy disciplinary procedure to ensure that your child is safe during their time at Club Metro. We will do our best to handle all situations at the center. If for some reason the parents are called during the day the situation would have to be extreme; one that we feel puts other children and staff at risk. We reserve the right to send children home when we feel they are not acting in a safe or healthy manner and are not making an effort to change their behavior. In only the most extreme cases, we reserve the right to expel children from Club Metro.

HOMEWORK
Homework is a vital part of after school activity. Club Metro staff will spot check homework for completeness only if requested. It is the parent’s responsibility to check homework for accuracy.

GENERAL HOUSEKEEPING
Children are responsible for cleanup. They are expected to participate in some aspects of room care. Children have a duty to clean up after snack, as well as put away toys, games, equipment, and their own belongings. If parents arrive before 6:00pm, we ask that the children be allowed to finish their clean up duties.

"NO SCHOOL" DAYS
On “No School” days there will be “Fun Day” Camp here at Metro Gymnastics Center (hours may vary). Please notify the front office if you would like to sign up for a camp. Also, if you are looking to bring your child to camp before 9:00 am, special arrangements can be made for an additional fee, so please notify the front office. If camp occurs on your child's regular Club Metro day, they are welcome to stay after camp from 3:00-6:00 at no additional cost.
