Autumn Stone
Girls Recreational Gymnastics Director
My name is Autumn Stone, Girls Recreational Director for Metro Gymnastics Center.
I started as a dancer, cheerleader, and track & field runner in my early years in Chicago, then went on to teach hip-hop dance classes at a couple of different dance studios. Then I became interested in gymnastics when I moved to Oregon, so I trained as a gymnastics instructor and have been loving it ever since. You can see me at Metro in both gymnastics and dance!
A bit about me is that I love to draw, do photography, do creative writing, and design unique pieces for my friends and family.
I’m an outdoor person. I love going on hikes, going to music festivals, and any adventure where I get to travel and explore!
I have an obsession with fun socks, and then wearing them to my classes, as they open up great conversations with the children I teach. They always ask why I have weird socks and my response is always, “Because normal socks are boring.”
I am so happy to be a part of Metro Gymnastics Center where I strive to make a difference in each child attending my classes and I love watching them grow in the sport and seeing them achieve their goals in and outside of the gym.
