Meet the Team
Jacqui Bouchard
Staff Instructor
Hello! I am a student, dancer, instructor, and adventure-lover! I have been a dancer since I was 4 years old, and I’ve even tried a bit of gymnastics and tumbling. My love for these sports is what brought me to Metro.
Some things I like to do include reading classics and other books, crocheting, writing, and visiting shops and cafes.
I am a college student majoring in computer science which I found interest in because I like typing, programming, and problem-solving. When I was in high school, I auditioned and made it into the All-State dance team put together by the Dane Drill Coaches Association (DDCA) of Oregon. From there, this All-State Team performed at the OSAA State Championships.
When I was younger, I danced with Dayton BAllet of Dayton, Ohio; one of the first ballet schools formed in America. I danced with them for 8-10 years and performed in many productions. Some of my lead roles included Peter in Peter and the Wolf and Clara in The Nutcracker (2017).
I moved on to dance in front of an audience of roughly 60,000 people for the World Guard International Championships. Dancing as a soloist for Bellbrook High School’s “The Rainbow Bridge” was a lifelong memorable experience.
Now I get to share this passion with the students at Metro!
